I have read hundreds of science fiction stories, and viewed dozens of movies and series. I really liked SG-1 FOR EXAMPLE. Each time I have viewed Universe, I have hoped for the best, but have experienced the worse! Theser writers seem to know nothing about how to create a science fiction plot, or develop interesting characters, nor interesting relationships. Look at the best: Star Trek. Big ideas, interesting but understandable science, clearly defended interesting characters, super relationships between characters. Everyone felt that they knew and cared for these people. They seemed real...and you wanted to be there with them! Universe has had two years to refine their theme and characters, but have failed miserably!!! I could write better scripts..sad to say...very SAD. Do you find this valuable?
