Which of the characters do you think will be your favorite and why?

Predict, before you see the pilot episode, which character will be your favorite and why. Then once you've watched the pilot, see if your prediction was right.

Mine will be either Dr. Rush, or Sergeant Johansen. I always have been drawn to the doctors and the tough military people. I hope I'm right, and I hope that both of them will turn out to be my favorites, who knows, maybe I'll surprise myself and like characters I don't normally gravitate toward, only October will tell.

that's hard, we've seen so little so far, I want to say Rush as I'm SUCH a Robbie fan, but I hear he may be the "character who can't be trusted" but then again those are the most interesting usually. I hope they give us more in the coming months!!cool thread... denkiva Do you find this valuable? |

My faves so far from what I've read - Young, Johansen, Wray, Wallace and Telford. Plus I already like the actors... :)

This is going from looking through the pictures and the first person to catch my attention: Camila Wray Looking both bad ass and serious! Reminds me a little of Teyla... but meaner XD But when I read the descriptions, I hands down will love on our Doctor and Comic Relief guy. As for Wray, I have a feelng that I'm going to both love and hate her xD Still, she's the person that really draws me in... A "nothing but business" looking person... very interesting... Seeing these characters strengthens my hope for the series outcome to be positive... Do you find this valuable? |

Eli Wallace all the way. He is to be the genious of the group and help them out of trouble. Sound a little like Rodney McKay. Love the idea also that he is younger. hmmmm, maybe a Wesley Crusher....but of course..haven't seen the show yet.

Now that we've seen some of the show, I actually like all the characters for very different reasons. Sgt. Greer is my husband's favorite.

Before I saw the premiere, I though Eli would be my favorite, but now the more I watch it, the more MSgt. Greer really stands out. He's extremely loyal and "classically heroic" in a Marine sort of way, but he also has a lot of very human personal issues, which makes him both flawed and relate-able. I see Eli as the representative of me, and Greer seems to treat Eli with respect, so that translates to respect for me (IMHO). I think I'd stick closest to Greer in a dangerous situation, that's for sure!

Alright, My faves have been affirmed. My favorites so far are four! Dr. Rush, Sergeant Johansen, Chloe Armstrong, and Lt. Scott. Eli is a little too much Rodney McKay for my taste. Perhaps he won't have the same idiosyncrasies that McKay has, but only time will tell. :)

I'm starting to see a little Rodney in Dr. Rush - a Rodney that is deprived of caffiene, almost. The only differences that come to mind is the backstory to come and that Dr. Rush doesn't explain his attentions, while Rodney will give you a full presentation if he has the time.

I liked Dr. Rush since the beginning, his background seemed to be interesting, and his character is really great, not just boring or the "usual" type.Now after a few episodes, Rush is indeed my favorite characters. At first i thought Eli Wallace is too much of a 2nd Rodney McKay and that i won't like him. But now after some episodes, it doesn't seem so, in contrast, i really like him. So Rush & Eli with his humor and all are definetively my favorite characters for now. Actually i like all characters.. some better, some not as much as other... But i think that will change as the show develops. Do you find this valuable? |

I would have to say Rush. He is calculating in a way that makes him seem almost diabolical. Then after that would be Eli.

I love Dr. Rush. If I was in that situation I would be exactly like him. I also like Eli. What can I say I love Geeks In Space... how can you tell I've been watching The Muppet Show on YouTube...
