He is a commander of Troops, who is given the task of finding Lime to repair the air scrubbing mechanism that is crucial to air filtration and breathing oxygen. He is also knowledgeable about the requirements for the ninth chevron on the stargate itself. He is stranded on the Destiny and he uses the Ancients long range communications to bid his beloved Emily goodbye but he promises to do everything that he can to return home.
