I loved Rush in "Malice".... esp when he became bent on vengeance for the death of his friend. ( I forgot her name, but she is the one that is a quadriplegic) Also the death of the redhead that was Eli's love interest. Rush is a nice complicated character with multi levels to him. He is neither good or bad....just a nice mix that makes you like and hate him at the same time.

In episode 5, light, (where they are heading for that star and 15 people are chosen via lottery to head for a possibly habitable planet in a shuttle) at the end it is hinted that Dr Rush didn’t put his name in the lottery because he may have already known that Destiny would survive going through the star.
Now if that WAS the case, (and I’m not saying it was) what would his reasoning be behind that? Why would he want to get rid of 15 people? It’s not as if he would have any control over who those people were if it was a lottery... So there would be 15 less people to feed, use power, use water and therefore supplies would last longer? What do you think?
I do realise that it was probably just Colonel Young being overly suspicious... I know Dr Rush is a little scheming and underhanded but I really don’t think he would murder 15 people just to save supplies or get them out the way.

Maybe he wasn't sure if they would make it or not. I'm sure he would have kept it to himself...mostly because he was still unsure at the time. Seems as time goes on and he learns more about Destiny, he keeps more to himself...for fear of losing his advantage over the others.

What role do the women of SGU play?: http://stargateuniversetvshow.wetpaint.com/video/8201639/SGU%3A+Amanda+Tapping+%26+the+Women+of+Stargate+Universe+-+Part+3 Still unclear to me. There are not many women on the Destiny, one is a lesbian and the others sleep with the crew, so sexual relations are prominent. Give me more character depth for the SGU women and keep up the surprising hook-up's!

"I think Scott will become more responsible as time passes, and also, he will be having to fight some inner demons, like in the pilot episode. " I agree with you. At first Scott didn't seem too responsible or a good leader, just a normal soldier. But now things will change a lot for him, he will get older and more responsible. He will have to make some decisions that he won't like, and that will change him. I see potential in him for character development and to become a noble leader, even to sacrifice himself to save others eventually. Especially in the next few episodes we will see in which direction it will go with him, i guess.

I think Greer is an extremely complex and interesting character. He really seems to care about other people, but his inner demons give him a volatile personality when confronted, so many people don't get to opportunity to see his better side. I really enjoy his interactions with Eli Wallace. Greer treats Eli with respect, and does not fall into the "military guy hate the smart/nerdy guy" stereotype.
